A Czech inventor developed a Harmonic Pulse Power Supply. The technology effectively substitutes commonly used switching power supplies/transformers + it is 4 times smaller and highly efficient (90% +) with a very low consumption when running idle. Suitable for electrical appliances where the size and efficiency of the power supply is crucial. The inventor looks for partners that would like to collaborate on applications of the invention. Joint venture is possible, as well.

Currently, all electrical appliances obviously use switching power supplies and transformers. Transformers are being replaced by switching power supplies in order to decrease weight and size of the products. However, today, switching power supplies can be substituted by much more effective and smaller devices  harmonic pulse power supplies. The invention will be welcomed by producers of LCD monitors, netbooks, TV sets, notebooks, and peripherals and other consumer electronics, as external, internal, modular, or industrial power supplies.

The highly innovative technology with very competitive features can be applied in every product that uses power supply 30-60W. For a quick start manufacturing is now available 40W HV DC/DC module, with universal input 100-350V and output 12V or 20V, size 27x33x11mm and weight 22g. Small prototypes series, module is ready for volume manufacturing.

License agreement is sought from EU countries and USA. OEM manufacturing on demand and joint venture with distributor is open for everyone.

Aspects innovants

- Planar ferrite cores with PCB (Printed Circuit Board) winding were used
- Most of components are SMD (Surface Mounted Device) - based
- The best price/power ratio is reached with applications between 30W-60W (for higher power outputs another effective model is in preparation)

- Up to 4-8 times smaller then switching power supply
- Twice as cheap
- Considerable energy savings! (over 90% efficiency)
- Smaller switching frequency 40kHz thus smaller electromagnetic emissions
