Outgoing Romanian company mission to Armenia

EEN partner Tehnopolis Science & Technology Park from Iasi, Romania, together with EEN partners from Armenia organise a company mission between the 20th and 26 th of August 2020 to Armenia.
The purpose of this outward company mission is to explore cooperation possibilities between producers, exporters and distributors in one-to-one meetings.
This event will connect the businessmen and businesswomen or SMEs of the two countries, so as to intensify bilateral trade and economic relations. In order to increase mutual trade, to improve the structure of trade exchanges and explore possibilities for improving business cooperation.
The mission plan includes the meetings with business organisations in Erevan and B2B meetings between Romanian and Armenian entrepreneurs.

In the past years the Enterprise Europe Network organized the gamesmatch event at the premises of the gamescom in Cologne - the world's largest trade exhibition and event highlight in the game sector. This year it will not be possible to meet in person at this exhibition as it will take place only digitally.

So we propose a virtual networking event to the games industry where games companies will be able to present their latest products and releases but they will also be looking for future projects and cooperation partners.

Sector Group Textile and Fashion Meeting _Istanbul

The first meeting of this year of the Sector Group Textile and Fashion will be organized in Istanbul (Turkey) on the 16th and 17th March 2020.
The event will be hosted by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ training programme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.

It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan. The mission may include the possibility to have tailored B2B meetings as well.

Matchmaking event during the 85th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair

The German Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE), in collaboration with the National Exhibition Agency TIF HELEXPO SA and PRAXI Network, are organizing a Brokerage Event on 7-11 September 2020 (17-19.00), during the 85th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair, which will take place on 5-13 September 2020.

The first Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) was organized almost a century ago in 1926. Over the following decades, TIF has come to be considered as the "mother" of national exhibitions. It is also the largest trade exhibition not only in Greece but in the whole of the Balkan region. In addition, it has built up a solid reputation for hosting various parallel sessions, including international parternariat events, as well as business-to-government features.

With a strong focus on showcasing entrepreneurship and innovation, TIF has consistently worked towards promoting the Greek economy and enhancing foreign partnerships, particularly in the wider region of Southeast Europe. Eurostars Life Sciences matchmaking event

Brokerage event for SME’s looking to cooperate in research and development projects.

The safety and security of matchmaking participants are our top priorities. Even if the risks of Covid-19 contamination decrease, we still prefer to be careful for everyone's safety. That is why we decided to organise the Eurostars Life Sciences matchmaking event completely virtual :
1) Virtual meetings on 27 May 2020
2) Presentations and SME pitches will be available online for registered participants from 24 August 2020
3) Virtual B2B-meetings on 9 September 2020

In the context of the Eurostars Calls (next cut-off deadline is 3 September 2020), the Enterprise Europe Network and the public funding agencies from Belgium, the Netherlands and Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany) co-organise an international matchmaking event for SME’s interested in Life Sciences topics.

Eurostars funds international innovative projects led by R&D-performing SMEs. With its bottom-up approach, it supports the development of innovative products, processes and services. It is an ideal first step in international cooperation, enabling small businesses to combine and share expertise and benefit from working beyond national or regional borders.

To help interested parties in finding international partners (companies, universities, research institutes) with complementary expertise to set up a Eurostars project, a two-fold matchmaking event is organised in the domain of Life Sciences, including health, biotech, medtech and agrotech:

1) On 27th May 2020, online B2B meetings will be facilitated through the b2match platform to allow companies to find partners for the next Eurostars call in September.

2) On 9th September 2020, online B2B meetings will be facilitated through the b2match platform for participants looking for partners to submit a proposal in 2021.

From 24th August, registered participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest services and funding opportunities offered to SME’s for cross-border research projects by the Eurostars and Interreg programmes and how to set up an international project via virtual presentations. In addition, SME pitches with project ideas and/or expertise offers will be made available online. On the 9th September participants will be able to meet potential project partners and/or get an answer to their questions regarding the presentations and pitches during the virtual matchmaking session.

Participants of the virtual matchmaking session on 27th May are also invited to attend the virtual Eurostars Life Sciences matchmaking event on 9th September 2020 in Ghent!

The 2nd day of the matchmaking event is scheduled on the day before the Knowledge for Growth conference (https://knowledgeforgrowth.be/), one of the largest conferences in Europe in the domain of Life Sciences. By scheduling the Eurostars event adjacent to this conference, participants will have the opportunity to attend several interesting presentations in the life sciences sector and network further with companies and research institutes active in the field.

Since 2016, the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation as the partner of Enterprise Europe Network in Japan, has been organizing a Brokerage Event in Biotech and Pharma sectors in Osaka, Japan.

"Chem-Match 2020: Corporates meet Startups" - Matchmaking Event & Corporate Challenge Event for Companies from the Chemical Industry

The Enterprise Europe Network Partner Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH is organizing a company mission for international chemistry startups to Frankfurt/Germany. Due to the current situation, the event is organized virtually as well.

In the open innovation process, corporates seek new ideas for promising technologies also outside their companies. Startups, the "laboratories of the future", are ideal for this, as they make a significant contribution to the industry's ability to innovate and maintain its competitiveness.

With this event, Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH wants to promote the networking of startups with established companies and corporations. By bringing together all players across the value chain, it offers a unique platform for participants to learn, exchange ideas, and collaborate. Startups with at least two confirmed meetings benefit from a free one-day participation in the CIEX conference on 8 October. The matchmaking event will take place on-site in Frankfurt/Germany, additionally a virtual solution is offered for all participants who cannot come personally to Frankfurt.

Corporate Challenge Event

On 9 October 2020, selected international startups get the opportunity to work together with established companies and corporates from the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology and services technology on their “Green” and “Digital” challenges. IFIB 2020 International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy

Lazio Innova, as partner of the Enterprise Europe Network, is organising, together with Innovhub-SSI, Assobiotec - the Italian Association for the development of biotechnology - and Regione Lazio the 10th edition of IFIB - International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy - aimed at strengthening the bioeconomy network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote partnerships.

SIAL 2020 - Meet Buyers

SIAL is the world's leading food industry show which takes place
every two years in Paris.

In 2020, SIAL Paris will be a bigger source of inspiration than ever for the world's food industry: 7,000 companies from more than 100 countries will be presenting their products to retail and foodservice professionals.

All manner of food products, from ingredients through equipment to end products, will be on show, across 21 exhibition sectors.
SIAL Innovation will once again be casting the spotlight on a host of innovative food products.

A brokerage event is organised in SIAL by Enterprise Europe Network Normandie and Paris Ile de France.

The event will organise face-to-face buyer-producer meetings based on specific requests from the international buyers. Producers from all over Europe will travel to Paris to present their products during the pre-booked meetings. This new type of event is an initiative from Enterprise Europe Network - aiming to connect buyers and producers of the food sector.

Registration and participation of the buyers : free of charge.

Registration and participation in this event for the suppliers is not free of charge. The cost is 350 euros for the first scheduled meeting with a buyer and the following meetings 200 euros. The invoice will be sent only after the validation of your agenda.
For meetings between supliers, the cost is 75 euros.

Regarding this special period, we had instructions in order to help the resumption of activity of our companies as much as possible.
That’s why we are thinking with our partner Business France to redefine the price of this action for companies which will have meetings with buyers. At this moment, we don’t have the final price. But the price could be 100 euros per booked meeting.

However, only participants with scheduled meetings will be accepted to the event. Travel and accommodation is at your own expense. Buyers and producers are encouraged to register on the event's website:

EU Brokerage Event - postponed! Main conference will take place digitally on 27th October

Update
Unfortunately we have to announce that the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has decided to postpone the Brokerage Event on KETs during the IndTech2020 conference.
The reasons therefore are not only related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated risk, but rather to the delay in the financial planning for the new Horizon Europe framework programme. Since the clients are used to a very high quality of events, the Ministry decided in accordance with the EU-COM to postepone the Brokerage Event to a further date, which has not been set so far.

However, the organising team decided to run the main conference day on the 27th October 2020 almost digitally in order to avoid unnecessary risks for speakers, moderators and participants. The moderators and panel speakers will meet on site in Mainz. The sessions will be broadcasted and available to the participants via live stream links; participants from all over Europe/worldwide will be able to take part on remote from their workspace or from home. The detailed conference agenda will follow by the end of August.

A French and a German National Contact Point (NCP) and the Enterprise Europe Network Rheinland-Palatinate with its regional EEN office at the IMG GmbH, Kaiserslautern, organise a brokerage event with the objectives to present the European Union’s new NMBP Work Programme of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe” and to prepare future cooperation between participants.

International brokerage event within Ceramic Network 2020 (Limoges/France)

This international brokerage event is organised in the framework of the 7th edition of CERAMIC NETWORK - the meeting point for stakeholders in the field of technical ceramics. This year it is the first time that the Enterprise Europe Network is officially involved, with the aim to more internationalise the event. That's why we are looking notably for foreign Network coorganisers.
CERAMIC NETWORK 2020 will take place on the 04th and 05th November 2020 in the French city of Limoges. The latter has a very long history in ceramics and is acknowledged worldwide for its porcelain items/ porcelain tableware. The local ecosystem has succeeded in transforming these special competences in efficient industrial SMEs developing technical ceramics for the following strategic markets: Luxury & Creation, Health, Environment & Housing, Energy & Transport, Electronics & Photonics.
Based in Limoges since 2005, the EUROPEAN CERAMICS CLUSTER ("Pôle européen de la céramique") federates local stakeholders (suppliers, buyers, RTOs, ...) specialized in technical ceramics to connect them with the European and international markets. Furthermore, a rich ecosystem of research and technology organisations (RTOs) as well as doctoral and international trainings within the Limoges university have permitted to create a real European hotspot in technical ceramics.

CONTACT denkmal - matchmaking and networking event

The “denkmal” trade fair has been held in Leipzig every two years since its premiere in 1994. “denkmal” is aimed at
decision-makers: architects, planners, skilled artisans, heritage conservation authorities and restorers, but also
investors and building owners. The result is a three-day gathering of industry professionals and private visitors
together in one convenient location.

As Europe’s leading trade fair for cultural heritage conservation, “denkmal” represents an excellent communication

The SIMODEC, the international bar turning machine tool show, will take place in La Roche-sur-Foron in France, from 24th to 27th November 2020. It has been postponed due the covid-19 situation.

Matchmaking event in Desalination for the Environment
Canary Islands Institute of Technology, member of the Enterprise Europe Network, will organise an International Matchmaking event in Desalination for the Environment, at the International Conference in Desalination for the Environment: Clean Water and Energy, in Gran Canaria (Spain) from 16 th to 20th May 2021.

The matchmaking event, with bilateral meetings, will take place on 18th May 2021, from 10:00 to 13:00 h and 15:30 to 17:30 h
The purpose of the event is to leverage the business international dimension of the International Conference in Desalination for the Environment: Clean Water and Energy, and bring companies opportunities to explore new markets, thus creating plenty of synergies and networking.

Brokerage Event at the World Expo Dubai 2020

the Enterprise Europe Network of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce will organise an International Brokerage Event at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai from 24th to 26th January 2022.

The purpose of the event is to leverage the international dimension at the World Expo in Dubai to bring opportunities for European companies while exploring the Middle Eastern market and the international markets. Furthermore, this event will also serve as a perfect platform to showcase the mission and vision of the Enterprise Europe Network, as a truly open and international business support network that works in the interest of SMEs in their development and internationalisation process.

While the envisaged brokerage event will be multi-sectorial and aims to support the presence of varied spectrum of SMEs, it will lay special emphasis on all the priority sectors for the European economy, namely sustainable development, circular Economy, ICT, transport & logistics, innovation and Industry 4.0 to stay in line with the theme of the Expo ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Moreover, the following sectors will also be targeted: automotive & e-mobility, life science & biotechnology, eco-technologies, environment & renewable energy, eco-construction, MICE & Tourism as well as services to companies.

As a priority topic for the EU economy, the envisaged EEN brokerage event will incorporate the Sustainability Week as an optional programme.

The event will encompass visits to industrial zones, thematic seminars, networking receptions and b2b meetings at its core.

In this context, we would like to invite you to register this event in your programme for 2020-2021 and to coordinate a delegation from your respective countries. In case your country has a pavilion at the Expo, we invite you to take up contact with the Director of your National Pavilion as well as with your local Embassy and your bilateral chamber who might be key in helping you build your delegation, especially with companies who are already there on the spot. Our team remains at your entire disposal to help you identify the relevant actors who can help you build your presence to the Dubai Expo.

The participation fee for companies amounts to EUR 250 and will include the following services:

- Entrance ticket to the World Expo Dubai
