The Enterprise Europe Network organises an international matchmaking event during the BioXpo Vitasana fair.
BioXpo VitaSana is the largest organic trade fair in Belgium.

The Belgian market is one of the most exquisite countries for food products with an exceptionally wide and diverse range. Belgian food products are known for their delicious taste and quality. This reputation is well deserved, because Belgium is one of those countries where good food is part of the culture and where organic and sustainable products take an increasingly important position. Organic products have been on the rise in Belgium in recent years and are gaining momentum. Over the last 10 years, the Belgian organic sector has grown by an average of 10% annually, while the European average is 7.5%. French-Spanish B2B in Health related industries

The “5th Cross-Border Meetings on Bio-Health Industries: New Aquitaine, Basque Country and Navarre”, will take place at Baluarte, Pamplona, Spain, on 17 October 2019. This event will be organized by SODENA, the agency for economic development in Navarre, the Basque Health Cluster, the TIC Santé Cluster of Aquitaine and GIPSO (Aquitaine).

The objective of the Meetings is to promote cross-border collaboration projects between industrialists and researchers from public and private entities of the health sector of the three territories. The success of the 4th meetings is the best testimony of the need for this collaboration.

The Meetings are aimed at entrepreneurs, researchers, universities, technology centres and, in short, all the actors of innovation in the Health sector in Navarra, Euskadi (Basque Country) and New Aquitaine.

The event will feature around "flash" presentations of companies and research groups, as well as successful cases of cross-border collaborations and round tables on the relevant aspects of the sector in the Euroregion. Multi-sectoral matchmaking event within the 9. European Congress of SMEs

The B2B meetings are organised in the frame of 9. European Congress of SMEs (http://ekmsp.eu/), on 17th - 18th of October 2019.
The guiding thought of the Congress is: “Science-Business-Self-Government – TOGETHER FOR ECONOMY”.

Previous editions of B2B meetings were very popular among entrepreneurs from different countries. Last year’s event gathered entrepreneurs that had opportunity to meet businesses from Austria, Germany, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, India, Luxembourg, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Slovenia and Poland. In the framework of the Entreprise Europe Network , the economic development agency DEV'UP Centre-Val de Loire and EEN Japan co-organize a Company Mission for cosmetic cluster, in close collaboration with the Cosmetic Valley cluster on 18th of October 2018. The mission is dedicated to a delegation of Japanese companies and to the cluster Japan Cosmetic Center : they are invited to visit an emblematic company in the region of Centre Val de Loire (France). The event is following the international tradefair COSMETIC 360 that will be held on 16 and 17 /10. The mission is complementary to that event to emphasize the collaborations with regional companies.

2019 Taiwan Trade Mission to Ukraine, Kyiv

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will lead a trade mission to visit Bratislava where it will be co-hosting a business matchmaking event with Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, EEN The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UA00558).

Schedule: 21st Oct., 2019

The visiting Taiwanese delegates will present a wide range of products that include:

Company Mission to the Netherlands: Lightweight, sustainable and circular Architecture and Design

The company mission to the Netherlands is organised with the intention to give German companies an insight in the latest Dutch developments in the field of lightweight constuction and possiblities of its integration in the whole urban system.
We organised a divers programme which includes the visit of the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, two research facilities in Delft and a construction site in Amsterdam. For more information please open the attached draft programme.

Furthermore, during the visit a Brokerage Event in Amsterdam will take place to foster the relationship building between Dutch and German companies of the leightweight construction sector. Researchers in the field of leightweight construction and architecture and its integration in urban systems are welcome to join the event in order to take part in the discussion about future developments and projects.

H2020 Personalized Medicine for Health in European Research - Conference and networking event

The Enterprise Europe Network in partnership with: Maria Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Centre, Institute of Oncology in Gliwice, Regional Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU established at Silesian University of Technology, Polish National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU, invites you to participate in an international partnering event entitled: „Personalized Medicine for Health in European Research”. Maritime company mission to Kiel - Meet the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany @MEER KONTAKTE

MEER KONTAKTE is the networking fair of Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) with two days of exhibition, plenaries, presentations, and thematic workshops with participants from business, politics, and research.

Key topics 2019 (all related to maritime applications, especially in commercial shipping and shipbuilding):
Human Resources, AI, Digitalisation, Green Shipping

Target group: Maritime clusters, companies, research institutions and associations especially from neighbouring countries of Northern Germany, thus in the West Netherlands and Belgium, in the North Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland and in the East Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Seminar on International Markets - EGYPT

Egypt, with a population of more than 100 million inhabitants and a sustained economic growth of more than 5%, presents commercial opportunities and potential demand in virtually all economic sectors. 20% of its population has a medium and high purchasing power. It has a highly diversified economy and in terms of GDP it is consolidated as the third in the area, behind Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The North African country registered an estimated economic growth of 5.6% in the third quarter of fiscal year 2018-2019. The Egyptian Government is developing the Vision 2030 Plan, a comprehensive plan that aims to boost GDP and employment growth and greater private participation in the country's economy. According to the latest official data available, € 1,646 million exported in 2018 represent a 34% increase over € 1,227 million in 2017.

In view of the positive and promising economic current situation of Egypt, the Enterprise Europe Network is organising this seminar intented to inform Spanish companies and thirs parties interested in setting up comercial relations and investment with Egypt.

By the end of the seminar a coffee-network will take place and afterwards individual meetings with speakers will be organised by previous request.

The seminar is organised in cooperation with the Egyptian Embassy in Madrid and two renouned legal and financial firms.

Walloon company mission to Timisoara

The company mission constitutes the EEN specific part of a business mission to Romania organized by the Walloon Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX) from 22 to 25 October 2019 and open to all Walloon companies producers of goods or services.

The delegation (5 to 10 companies) will visit Bucharest and Timisoara in order to connect with Romanian businesses. The delegation will be multisectoral but with a special focus on Agrofood.

A full B2B day is organized in Timisoara with the active support of the local EEN partner, the Regional Development Agency of the West Region, which will hosts the event and find relevant potential partners for the Walloon companies.

Seville New Space Forum

This event will congregate the European Industrial Space Sector in Seville on 28 & 29 October 2019, just a few weeks before the ESA Council of Minister (Space19+) in the same city.

The Community of Ariane Cities (CVA) and the City of Seville as president of CVA, in cooperation with other entities, such us IDEA (the Agency of Innovation and Development of the Andalusian government), have organized “Seville New Space Forum”, an industrial forum as a prelude to the Space19+, the ESA Council of Ministers, that will take place in Sevilla on 28 & 29 October 2019.

Company mission addressed to the automotive industry, targeting the cluster organizations in the area of Daimler production site in Kecskemet, Hungary.

The main organizations targeted are HÍRÖS Supplier Cluster and MIENK cluster. Since the end of November 2013, HÍRÖS Supplier Cluster has possessed the title “Accredited Innovation Cluster” and has joined 22 accredited domestic innovation centers.

West Regional Development Agency together with IQ Kecskemet Industrial Research Ltd and Csongrad County Chamber of Commerce, are the organizers of this mission. IoT (Internet of things) Solutions World Congress 2019 - Brokerage event

Barcelona is a hub for new technologies and startups. The city is the perfect place to host the largest Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) event.

Since its first edition back in 2015, the IoT Solutions World Congress has grown to become the global reference and largest event for industrial IoT, where industry stakeholders meet annually to establish new partnerships.

For yet another year, we are organising the IoT Brokerage Event 2019 which will be held in Barcelona in the framework of the IoT Solutions World Congress between the 29th and 31st of October 2019.

Since the first edition in 1992, more than 700 participants from across all EU Member states have participated in this practical training course managed by the EU-Japan Centre.

The 5-day World Class Manufacturing training mission provides an in-depth analysis of Japanese manufacturing methodology such as Lean, Kaizen, TQC ...)

STRUCTURE OF THE TRAINING

The training course consists of lectures, workshops and visits to some of the world’s most advanced Japanese factories in order to understand the real "Gemba" (production site), talk directly with their production managers and observe the effective implementation of manufacturing methods.This course will give its participants a detailed understanding of current Japanese approaches that they can adapt to help their companies lean journeys.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The training targets EU managers, working in EU companies, with knowledge of WCM and an engineering background, deal participants have an important strategic role in shaping the company's best practice strategy or can influence the company's management of quality control / best practice / production systems.

The sector of activity is unimportant since the themes covered are equally applicable in non-manufacturing industries.

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising, for the fourth time, a cluster match-making mission in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector.

Company mission from Northern Europe to Italy in the pollution metrology sector.

InnovhubSSI will host a company mission in the sector of metrology instruments for measuring pollution and emissions, to facilitate cooperation between research institutions and companies from Italy, Denmark, France and Finland.

The EEN company mission is organized in cooperation with EU project IMPRESS, addressing measurement gaps of emissions in view of the new European Directive that is coming into force setting increasingly stringent Emission Limit Values for key air pollutants to mitigate ~400 000 premature deaths and €330-€949 billion p.a. of costs attributable to air pollution.

The emissions industry faces an issue as a metrologically robust framework of standardised measurement methods to enforce these directives is not fully in place.

The mission intends to facilitate the generation of common projects and technology transfer in this sector, by matching breakthrough technologies, excellence and knowledge and provide the EU market with new instruments for monitoring and measuring air pollution.

G-STIC2019 is the world’s leading conference on integrated technological solutions aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 17 internationally agreed ambitious goals to move the world to a more sustainable future by 2030.

Since 2015, Andalusia region has been holding the International Conferences on Dual Use Technologies. This 2019 edition will coincide with the celebration of Seville as City Presidency of the Network of Ariane Cities and the Inter-Ministerial Meeting of the European Space Agency to be held in Seville on 27th & 28th November 2019.

Matchmaking event during Polish-Czech-German Cooperation Forum in Poland (November 2019)

Global Business Innovation Programme (Graphene) visit to Boston

Innovate UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP), delivered by Enterprise Europe Network, is looking for innovative UK SMEs in the graphene sector.

The programme will focus on graphene uses and technology within the electronics, composites and energy sectors. It aims to connect delegates with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, academia and government in the USA.

Successful applicants will be supported through a structured programme and benefit from a six day visit to Boston, USA.
During the visit delegates will attend leading research centres and universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Innovation Institute, iMatSci Innovation Showcase, and The Fall Materials Research Society (MRS) Conference. The programme also includes visits to local and global organisations interested in innovative graphene-enabled devices and technologies, with the aim of creating and promoting opportunities for partnering and collaboration.

Delegates will receive bespoke 1-2-1 support from Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) advisers to help them exploit the opportunity before, during and after the visit, as part of the full programme.

The USA is a significant market for emerging advanced materials, of which, graphene plays a prominent role. Boston is renowned for its abundance of research institutes, universities, and has a healthy network of innovative start-up companies and entrepreneurs allowing for networking and collaboration opportunities.

The cost

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is the international response to climate change. Nanotech Mission to Japan for EU SMEs and Clusters 2020

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising a nanotech mission to Japan on the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission aimed to support EU SME and Clusters in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.

• Mission dates: from 28-31 January 2020
• Application deadline: Thursday, 3 October 2019,

Mission participants will have the opportunity to:
• Exhibit at the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference”
• Gain knowledge about the Nanotechnology market structure, sector analysis, business policy
• Identify relevant key contacts (decision makers, R&D centres, business partners)
• Establish relationships with potential partners (trade and technology)
• Benefit from face-to-face meetings leading to possible business opportunities

Additionally, a networking/partnering event will be organised one day before the fair (TBC).

Costs
The all organisation and its related costs such as the fair participation, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

SME and clusters participants can benefit of a €600 grant, provided by the European Commission, through our organisation to help cover the flight and hotel costs that are to be covered by the participant.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 20 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

Biogaz Europe - Bois Energie - ReGen Europe: business meetings

Outgoing Lithuanian company mission to Plastpol 2020

With support of Lithuanian Innovation Centre and Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer plastics industry companies will be visiting Poland on the 21st - 31st May 2020. During the visit representatives will be looking for industry partners while attending the Plastpol (https://10times.com/plastpol-expo).
